Going into my second year of this foundation degree, I know that there are things that I look forward to and can improve on. For example, I am really looking forward to working on my blog throughout Year 2 because reflecting upon modules helps me to remind myself of important lessons I have learned from. Even in my first year, I had experienced an improvement in the presentation of my sketchbooks thanks to the advice from my teachers but I would like to continue developing my presentation skills so that my sketchbooks are more comprehensive to anyone who may or may not be involved in the footwear industry. The textiles lessons had shown me the capabilities of synthetic and natural materials in footwear so I am excited to learn how I can incorporate materials that I have not previously worked with into my footwear projects.
